APITHERAPY, or “bee therapy” (from the Latin apis which means bee) is the medicinal use of products made by honeybees.

Honeybees produce honey, pollen, bee propolis and royal jelly all of which are used by people as substances for health and healing.

Therapies involving the honeybee have existed for thousands of years and some may be as old as human medicine itself (ancient rock art of early hunter-gatherers depicts the honeybee as a source of natural medicine).

Bee Well is a professional grade supplement that is a synergistic combination of the most commonly used Apitherapy substances.

Description

Apitherapy is:   the use of honeybee produced substances for health and healing.

Honeybees produce honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and beeswax, all of which are used by people.

While there is not a lot accepted scientific information about royal jelly, and other bee products, there is ample anecdotal evidence supporting the value of Apitherapy and Honeybee produce.

Bee Pollen

Bee Pollen is the male reproductive material of plants used by bees to feed their larvae. Pollen is the honeybee’s exclusive source of protein.  Bee Pollen contains all the essential amino acids that people require.

Apitherapy uses of bee pollen: a multi-vitamin, energy booster, and/or to build up their resistance to air-borne (hay fever type) allergens.

Bee Propolis

Propolis is a combination of beeswax, honey, and tree resins mixed with bee-produced enzymes, used to protect the bee hive from bacteria, fungus, and viruses. Propolis has natural anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Apitherapy uses of propolis: a natural remedy for colds & influenza, and to boost the immune system.

Royal Jelly

Royal Jelly is an enzyme enriched food, produced by young worker bees and fed to a queen bee for her entire life.

Apitherapy uses of royal jelly: multi-vitamin, an immune system booster to promote longevity, and for mental clarity.

Honey

Honey is plant nectar, converted to simple sugars, dehydrated, and used for energy and winter food.

Apitherapy uses of honey:  natural sweetener, as a sore throat remedy, cough suppressant, and for healing wounds.
